Eesti areng e- riigina

  Eesti areng e- riigina Aastal 2012-2013 seadis EV visiooni kui kaugele on Eesti infoühiskond arenenud 2020 aastaks ja milline see võiks välja näha. Tõin välja punkti mis on edukalt täide läinud ja punkti mis on jäänud pigem algeliseks.  Visiooni punkt mis läks täide: “Eesti keel on digitaalses maailmas elus ja arenev. Eesti keele tehnoloogia abil saab kasutada igapäevaseadmeid ja e-teenuseid.”  Eesti keeles googeldades saab enamasti kõik vajaliku kätte, välja arvatud väga spetsiifilised ja kitsad harud (isegi siis tõenäoliselt leiab infot selle kohta) ja leidub küllaga eestikeelseid komuune. Ka telefonid ja arvutid saab seadistada eestikeelseks. Ja nähtavas tulevikus see ka jääb nii.  See, et keel on digitaalses maailmas elus on selle edasiseks arenguks oluline, kuna see on tiba nagu lumepalliefekt. Kui eesti keeles ei oleks internetis eriti midagi, siis keegi keegi ka ei otsiks selles keeles, mis tõttu ei näeks ka keegi vaeva et midagi sinna teha. Eesti keele edu digitaalses maailm

  Uus meedia  Mis on uus meedia ja mis on selle eelised traditsioonilise meedia ees? Uus meedia on ajalehed, artiklid, blogid, podcastid, mis jõuavad tarbijani digitaalselt. Samad ajalehed ja artiklid võivad olla saadavad nii digitaalselt kui ka paberil. Uus meedia vähendab tootmiskulusi - ei pea midagi printima ega transportima, seega saab igaüks toota meediat kasutades peamiselt ainult enda aega. See tõtu saab uus meedia olla tasuta (pead nägema reklaame, kui pole adblocki) ja kuna palju rohkem inimesi toodab seda ei ole seda ka rikaste poolt võimalik kontrollida. Ka reklaamijate vaatepunktist on uus meedia ahvatlev, kuna see võimaldab reklaamida kindlale sihtgrupile (nt koera omanikele), kindlas piirkonnas ja erinevalt tava meedia reklaamist saab jälgida kui palju reklaamimine tulu toob ja selle järgi otsustada kas reklaamida rohkem/vähem või tuleks hoopis strateegiat muuta (Reklaamimise muutmine on internetis palju). seega kuidas mõjutab tavameediat? ARPANET

ARPANET (Advanced Research Projects Agency Network) ARPANET sai rahastust 1960 ndate lõpus ja selle algne eesmärk oli Pentagoni poolt rahastatud teadlaste arvutid ühendada telefoniliini kaudu. See oligi kõige algsem asi mida sai internetiks kutsuda. Aga sellele vaatamata kasutatakse selle süsteeme tänapäevani. Projekt lõppes 1990. aastal. Mis tehnoloogiad said Arpaneti käigus alguse? Ray Tomlinson pani alguse e mailile (tema järgi hakati ka @ sümbolit kasutama). TCP - loob kindla ühenduse arvutite vahel mis tagab, et info saadetakse õiges järjekorras ja selle et kõik info jõuab kohale. UDP - saadab infot kiiremini kui TCP, aga ei kontrolli kas info on kohale jõudnud. IP - arvuti maailma aadress, selle järgi teatakse kuhu infot saata (algselt oli TCP osa). packet switching - kiirendab info liikumist. What chess shows about AI?

What is chess? Before telling you how fast AlphaZero learned to play chess, I will quickly tell you what chess is. Chess is almost 1500 year old and has an 8x8 playing field and each player has 16 pieces. And what makes the game hard for computer is that it can not be solved by computers or brute forced because just after 3 moves there are 121 million different possibilities and top level games usually take over 50 moves. AlphaZero AlphaZero was developed by Google's Deep DeepMind in late 2017. It used reinforcement learning and self-play in order to train it’s neural networks. It was trained to play shogi, go and chess and succeeded in all of these games, but I will only go in depth for chess. AlphaZero vs Stockfish When AlphaZero first played Stockfish(strongest chess engine at the time) in December 2017, AlphaZero scored 28 wins, 72 draws and zero losses.   Bitcoin What is Bitcoin? Bitcoin is the first crypto currency that saw large implication and is so far the most successful of its kind. It was created in 2009 by Satoshi Nakamoto, but the identity of the person is unknown. How does bitcoin blockchain work? Bitcoin transactions work based on blockchain. People have to include payments on a block (payments have digital signatures) and add a number at the end of the block that makes the SHA-256 function output of the block start with a certain amount of zeroes to prove that they have done work, that number is also added to the start of next block to create a block chain (every digit change changes the SHA-256 function output). And if at any point the blockchain spreads into two, the longer block chain is considered more trustworthy. Blocks are on average 10 minutes apart and have roughly 3000 transactions on them. People who create these blockchains are called miners and are rewarded bitcoins for their work. The drawbacks of the system

SHA (Secure Hash Algorithm)

  SHA (Secure Hash Algorithm) History of SHA family SHA-0 (originally named just SHA) was a 160-bit hash function that was published in 1993 by National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and withdrawn shortly because of a flaw.  SHA-1 was also a 160-bit function that was replacement for SHA-0 (published in 1995 by NASA). SHA-2 consists of two hash functions SHA-256 and SHA-512 (Developed by NASA in 2001 and 2004) Main difference between the SHA algorithms are output string sizes. How secure is SHA Despite the fact that SHA-1 is no longer recommended for fell funded attackers, SHA-512 and SHA-256 are still very safe.
